One of the most exciting and spectacular weekends on the Kinsale events is The Blue Haven Kinsale Vintage Rally, taking place this May 9th to 12th. With over 100 amazing Vintage cars on display in Kinsale over the weekend, it really is a fun filled family weekend.

The launch will take place in the main sponsors Blue Haven Hotel on Wednesday April 16th @ 5.30pm, outside Blue Haven Café, with the newly crowned Miss Cork, tea/coffee refreshments and a sample of some of the vintage cars to come.
Now entering its 25th year, Kinsale Vintage & Classic Car Rally is widely regarded as one of the premier events on the Irish classic car calendar.

Following the twinning of Kinsale with the Welsh town of Mumbles in 1990, KV&CMC also decided to twin with the town’s own car club, The Swansea Historic Vehicle Register. Each year sees large numbers of SHVR members make the trip to Kinsale for the May rally, a gesture that is returned each August when the club makes the return trip to Swansea.

Originally established in 1988 by a group of classic car enthusiasts, the club has since grown to a current membership of over 70 members. All members share a common passion –their love of driving and preserving the classic cars of yesteryear. Indeed one could ask for no better setting than the historic town of Kinsale and the surrounding beauty of the West Cork countryside.
