This year, the Kinsale and District Lions Club presents the annual Quiz Night on Thursday, November 14th in Actons, starting at 7.30pm.
Last year was a great success, attracting 58 tables of 4 participants each, enjoying a lively and very sociable competition.
Marty Morrissey was a most popular guest and brought along with him a dozen sporting heroes and heroines, from near and far, to chat, informally, around the tables.
This year Paschal Sheehy, from RTE Cork, is coming to join in the occasion and some Cork GAA stars will also be present with their recently won Cups.   
We will be celebrating their successes.
And, of course, Paschal’s wit will be revealing some behind- the-scenes interest which will entertain everybody, as he is, no doubt, the doyen of Cork news.
The questions themselves may be varying from the norm, but the craic at the tables will be familiar!
Tables can be booked and tickets bought from The Boathouse Gallery, Main St, Kinsale, and are € 50 for a table of four or € 12.50 per single ticket.

Proceeds will go, as always, to the needful Lions’ Charities in the district.
