Kinsale Rugby Club is busy planning final details of the 2017 Heineken Kinsale Rugby 7s that takes place this weekend! It promises to be a great weekend of competitive rugby as well as the fun and festivities the bank holiday brings to the town, with over 8,000 visitors expected in Kinsale over the May Bank Holiday Weekend.
 
One hundred & seventy games will be played across five pitches by over 80 teams! A weekend pass for spectators costs €30 or €20 for a day pass. There is free car parking on site and a shuttle bus service runs from outside the AIB all day on both days for those wishing to leave their cars at home.
A Closing Party will be held in Actons Hotel on Sunday night, from 10pm ’til late, tickets just €10.
The charities nominated for Kinsale 7s’ support this year are the Wooden Spoon: The Children’s Charity of Rugby, and local charity, Fundraising for Jayden.
