A great morning was had by the 196 children attending Kinsale AFC Camp with the arrival of a delegation from the FAI which included Ray Houghton, Richard Dunne, Amber and Roma from the Senior Ladies squad, John Delaney, Tony Fitzgerald and others.
Following the meet & greet and plenty of photos, the FAI handed over a cheque for €4000 to Kinsale AFC and announced a payment of €10k per annum for the next ten years towards the development of the new clubhouse. John Delaney also announced that the memory of one of the founders & stalwarts of Kinsale AFC, the late Mr Paddy Madden, would be honoured in the programme in one of the upcoming Ireland home games, at which 50 Kinsale AFC underage players will attend.
Great news for the club which is going from strength to strength! Well done to all involved.
