Why Play Therapy?

Children naturally express themselves through play just as adults express themselves verbally. It is through play that children learn and make sense of their world.

How does play therapy work?

The therapist creates a safe environment which allows the child to feel secure and supported. In turn this allows the child to express difficult feelings, memories and fears, so the child can establish new ways of coping and feeling.
