Corcadorca and Eat My Noise in association with Kinsale Arts Festival present the Irish premiere of
How These Desperate Men Talk

Site-specific theatre pioneers, Corcadorca Theatre Company, and audio compositors Eat My Noise will present the Irish premiere of How These Desperate Men Talk, a play by Enda Walsh (Ballyturk, Disco Pigs) on Friday the 19th of September.
This unique performance marks a highly anticipated return to large-scale site-specific work for Corcadorca, whose most memorable past productions include The Trial of Jesus on St. Patrick’s Hill, A Midsummer Nights Dream in Fitzgerald’s Park, the multi-stage The Merchant of Venice and Woyzeck at Ireland’s Naval Base in Haulbowline. It is also their first collaboration with the innovative and groundbreaking Eat My Noise, a Cork based music production company specializing in composition with electronics, acoustics, orchestra and multi-platform, collaborative works. Their electro-percussive work Moiety premiered at Cork Midsummer Festival last year to critical acclaim before touring to FIERCE Festival in Birmingham. Having composed and performed an outdoor operetta entitled The Spindle for Big House festival in 2013, this will be the biggest production to date for this highly prolific company.
Featuring two lead actors, the roles of characters John and Dave will be played by two of Ireland’s acting heavyweights. David Pearse, who will play the part of John, played the lead role in Woyzeck, a 2007 Corcadorca production. He is well known for his role opposite Brendan Gleeson in The Guard and his most recent appearance as Svein in Vikings. Tadhg Murphy, whose recent stage credits include the role of Lucky in Gare St. Lazare’s production of Waiting For Godot, will play the part of Dave. Further screen credits include Pride and Joy (2006), Jelly Baby (2005), Oliver Stone’s Alexander, and Stephen Bradley’s Boy Eats Girl (2005).
A promenade performance, How These Desperate Men Talk, takes place mainly on a factory floor inside Graepel’s Metal Perforation Factory in Kinsale. A fully operational factory by day, it has been home to the cast and crew of this exciting new production for rehearsals over the past few weeks. 
A dark, immersive melding of theatre and music, the show will be delivered as part of the Kinsale Arts Festival 10 Year anniversary programme and promises to take you on an unforgettable journey through memory, truth and fraternity.
