The Kinsale Peace Project & Trocaire are bringing the inspirational Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish to Kinsale as part of a speaking tour of the country. Dr. Izzeldin, a nobel peace prize nominee who lost three daughters in the 2008/9 Israeli invasion of Gaza, will speak of his own personal history of great tragedy, and also of how understanding and compassion can be tools to bridge the divide between Israelis and Palestinians.

The Kinsale evening talk will take place on Thursday 9th August at 8pm in The Friary Centre, Carmelite Friary (by kind permission). Other recent guests of the Kinsale Peace Project include: Christine Noble, Sr. Stan, Fergal Keane, Fergus Finlay, David Norris, to name but a few.

As always, the evening talk promises to be stimulating and thought provoking. All are welcome and admission is free.
