The Blue Haven Hotel embraces global technology with new partners Dyson

The Blue Haven Hotel in Kinsale was named the ‘Best Boutique Hotel in Ireland’ at The Irish Hospitality Awards 2017.  Following on from that success, The Blue Haven has announced its partnership with Dyson to create Ireland’s first Dyson Hotel, which will combine the award-winning hospitality of The Blue Haven with Dyson’s game-changing, problem-solving technologies.
 
Speaking about the recent Blue Haven Hotel award and new Dyson partnership, Director Ciaran Fitzgerald said, “The award has set the foundations for us to develop our product and service further and to continue to improve our guests’ experience, by thinking outside the box, while maintaining and respecting the unique character and history of The Blue Haven.  We offer our guests everything you would expect from a gourmet boutique hotel, but adding innovative points of difference to set us apart, such as Dyson’s ground-breaking technology to deliver a premium customer experience.  We are very excited to be Ireland's first Dyson Hotel, following on from successful implementations in the boutique Rosewood Hotel in London and Pier One in Sydney.’’
 
The Blue Haven has introduced Dyson air purifiers, lighting, vacuums, Semisonic hair dryers and hand dryers throughout the hotel.  “From light levels, to air quality, to washroom hygiene, every detail effects the guest experience.  Working with Dyson is the most recent example of how we look to continuously improve, as we offer our guests a more modern experience, coupled with some of the world’s best technologies, while also respecting traditional hospitality values and our focus on friendly personal customer service.  Air pollution inside can be up to five times worse than outside and, on average, people spend approximately 90% of their time indoors.  The new Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ Link purifier fan heater automatically detects and captures pollutants, providing a better environment for guests and staff alike”, said Magdalena Ruda, General Manager at The Blue Haven Hotel.  Guests will be able to select their preferred room temperature on booking and it will be adjusted for them in advance of their stay.
 
Having recently completed the implementation of Apple technology throughout the hotel, this new venture with Dyson continues The Blue Haven’s plans to embrace state-of-the-art technology to give guests a more enjoyable, bespoke and healthier customer experience.  In conjunction with Compu B Apple TVs have been installed in all hotel bedrooms, iPads are used upon check-in and the business uses Apple technology as a key management tool.
