JP McManus Scholarship
Daniel Lawton has been awarded a JP McManus 2014 All Ireland Scholarship for third Level Education. This scholarship will be formally presented to Daniel at a reception hosted by JP McManus in UL next Saturday morning November 8th. The Guest of Honour at this event will be Irish Soccer Manager, Martin O'Neill. The Minister for Education, Jan O'Sullivan will be a speaker at the reception. This is a huge honour for Daniel and his family.  Congratulations Daniel!

Meritorious Maths Performance
Karen Briscoe is 'adjudged to have given the most meritorious performance at the Leaving Certificate Higher Level Examination in Maths' by the State Examination Commission. This is an amazing achievement and the entire school community congratulates Karen!

BT Young Scientist 2015
The BT Young Scientist competition has accepted a whopping 22 entries from the Kinsale Community School for the 2015 Young Scientist Competition. This is a remarkable success for all involved! Having won the 'Best Science School in Ireland' in 2014, the school is thrilled to have so many accepted entries for the 2015 competition.

Junior Cert Maths - Higher Achiever
Transition Year Student Adam Higgins has been identified by the State Examination Commission as a 'high achiever' in Maths in the 2014 Junior Cert Maths Examination. On the strength of this achievement Adam has been invited to participate in the 2014 Irish Beaver Computing Contest. It is envisaged that the Irish team will compete with students from over 40 countries in this competition. This is another great achievement for Adam, his teachers and his family.  Congratulations Adam!
