Small businesses are the backbone of the Irish economy.  More than 98% of companies have fewer than 50 employees and together they employ half of all private sector workers. Close to 13,000 new enterprises are established each year and they grow quickly at the second fastest rate in Europe in terms of numbers employed according to recent data from the SFA.
SMEs are present in every single village, town and city in Ireland so their social significance is as great as their contribution to the economy.  Small business in Ireland is at a crossroads however.  The global economy and the digital transformation are changing the context in which companies operate.  The world of work is undergoing an irreversible transformation.
In these uncertain times, owner managers, SMEs & entrepreneurs must look to the future and identify how they and their businesses can adapt and evolve in order to achieve success and become a next generation business. The market leading advisory firm has also teamed up with an American CPA firm to deliver a new service for American citizens who need to file a US tax return following recent changes in legislation in the US. “ We deal with a lot of International clients some who need to also file returns in the US for fear of losing their passport so we have developed a relationship with an American based CPA firm who are experts in this area following from the demand in this area from our clients ”
