The annual Maritime Parade in the harbour, on the eve of St. Patrick's Day, has become a much loved event on the Kinsale Calendar of Events. A magical atmosphere is created by the beautifully lit boats sailing into the harbour to the sounds of local choirs. Every year the committee tries to add a new attraction to the event and this year is no different. Spectators on the Pier are invited to light up and shine at the Maritime Parade with prizes on offer for the brightest adult and brightest child! So if you were wondering what to do with those Christmas lights you forgot to store away, now is your opportunity to put them to good use!
The evening will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display.
Come along and join in the fun on the Pier Head on Wednesday evening from 7.30pm.
