The Kinsale Good Food Circle was short listed in the category ‘Best Food Experience’ at the inaugural Irish Tourism Awards held at the Hilton by Doubletree in Dublin on Friday 24th April.  Altogether there were almost 350 entries for the Awards, which were attended by over 550 people. The Kinsale Good Food Circle was represented at the event by Liam Edwards (Chairperson), along with his wife Niamh, and Maria O’Mahony (Administrator and Event Organiser).  Liam said ‘Being shortlisted for the award was a great honour for the Good Food Circle’.  MC for the evening was Mary Kenny, and the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohoe TD, was joined on stage by the Chairperson of the Irish Tourism Industry.
