A School Sponsored Walk will take place on Friday 23rd October, to fundraise for the Ciara O'Brien Trust.
The school is hoping that all pupils will raise a minimum of €20 by seeking sponsorship from family, friends and neighbours and that many pupils raise far more than this amount. As a school the minimum target will be €10,000.
Pupils are requested to wear yellow on the day to send a message of hope, healing and optimism to Ciara. The walk will start and finish in the school gym and will follow approximately the route of this years Pink Ribbon Walk, the overall distance being 7 and a half kilometres.
Pupils will be accompanied on the walk by class teachers and will be leaving in staggered groups from 9am onward.
