Alas it was not to be our day yesterday when our inspirational Kinsale Ladies Intermediate team came up against a very strong Dunboyne team in the All Ireland Intermediate Final at Parnell Park, Dublin. With a final scoreline of 2-13 to 2-12 the game was neck and neck right down to the final minute.
We would just like to say a huge thank you to the entire management and panel for the enormous joy you have brought us over the past few months. The All Ireland semi-final in Kinsale will be remembered forever and the excitement and buzz in the town leading up to the final was tremendous.
We know you’ll be disappointed in the immediate aftermath of the game but keep your heads high and you’ll be back stronger next year. Always remember the esteem in which you are held in your hometown and what inspirational role models you are to all the young girls growing up around you.
