Kinsale Christmas are delighted to announce plans for the 2014 festive season.  A fun, family centered month of activities is planned to bring the magic of Christmas to Kinsale.
For the first time Santa will take up residence in Kinsale each weekend in December.  His winter wonderland will be housed in the Old Mill Building (James O’Neill Memorial Building), Church Square, opposite St Multose Church.  It will be a magical fantasy for young and old, with lots of surprises waiting.  Tickets go on sale mid November through their Facebook Page www.facebook.com/KinsaleChristmas.
The festive season kicks off with the arrival of Santa Claus on Sunday November 30th.  He will officially light up the Christmas tree in Kinsale’s Town Park.  A Torch Light Parade through the town will lead the children through the town and ending with a festive disco.

The 5K Santa Dash takes place this year on December 14th at 10.30 am.  Kinsale Triathlon Club are offering a free Couch to 5k training schedule for this year. This is a great family fun run and fancy dress with lots of prizes on the day. All enquiries, training schedule and app form from kinsalesantadash@gmail.com

Lots of entertainment is guaranteed with a Treasure Hunt to keep your little ones entertained.  For a different twist on carol singers see The Rampart players perform street theatre.  The ever popular Christmas Indoor Market will be held once again on Thursday December 4th.

Make a day or a weekend of it and experience all of that Kinsale has to offer.   Accommodation packages will be available for people wishing to stay overnight and soak up the festivities.

Have your lunch, do your Christmas shopping, potter around the lovely boutiques, galleries and shops, go for a festive stroll down the pier, visit the magical Christmas tree in the Town Park, finish off with a mulled wine or an evening meal.
